Head Above Water

London Design Festival

For 3D people, one of the partners in the Head Above Water project by Steuart Padwick, we made a complex geometric version of the larger sculpture for 3D people to print in SLA and show off at the London Design Festival 2018.

The geometry was created using an algorithm that connects points in space and gven a organic look mimicing neurons by using voxelisation. The geomtery was then cut up in over fifty different pieces that could be printed in the build volume of the SLA printer and then be assembled back together to create the intricate sculpture.
